On the Uluyazı Campus of our university, an area of 1580 square meters has been allocated to the Biology Department. Apart from this area, we have Genomics Laboratory and Biotechnology Laboratories in Uluyazı Campus. In our department, there are separate research laboratories belonging to Botanical Department, Plant Diseases and Microbiology Department, Molecular Biology Department, Zoology Department, General Biology Department and Biotechnology Department. There are also a 86 m² student laboratory, a museum of vertebrates and invertebrates, and a Herbarium.
